Objectives

This seminar cum workshop is organized to

(i)         Educate, learn, and share the knowledge on the principles, theory and concept of basic nanotechnology and its applications in medical and other related fields.

(ii)       Promote and develop the research work in this area by having hands on experience in sophisticated instruments.

(iii)      Spotlight cutting-edge technologies in nanomedicine

(iv)    Integrate leading academicians, researchers, beginners, investors, industrialists and innovators in this related area.

Registration

 

The detail of the registration fee is Rs.  Rs. 1500/ for researcher / PG student,  Rs. 2000/-  for faculty, and Rs. 2500/- for Industrialist / Scientist. Registration fee covers lectures, practical demonstration, certificate, course kit, study materials, two lunch and four refreshments. Any accompanying persons should also register.  Student registrant is expected to provide a bonofide certificate of studentship, obtained from any faculty of the department.   The registration fee should be paid through a demand draft in favour of “MPN-08” payable at Tiruchirappalli from any nationalized bank along with the duly completed registration form. The duly filled Registration Form along with the registration fee can be sent to the Organizing Secretary by post. As soon as the registration fee is received, your registration will be confirmed. Last date for registration is on 10th September, 2008. Request for spot registration and registration without payment will not be considered.

 

Cancellation and Substitution Policy

No refund of registration fee paid is possible at any cost. However, you are most welcome to substitute without any additional fee.

 

Accommodation

Participants are expected to have their own arrangements for their stay for the seminar period. However, the organizer will help the needy participant in arranging hotel accommodation only when the participant pay an additional amount of Rs. 2000/- (Single room with AC for two days) along with the registration fee.

 

Visa

Foreigner, who requires a letter of invitation to get VISA for participating in the international seminar cum workshop, is expected to approach the organizing secretary for getting the letter of invitation by sending the filled registration form in advance.

 

Travel Information

The closest domestic airport to Anna University Tiruchirappalli is Tiruchirappalli Airport and the international airport is Chennai International Airport. The distance between Chennai and Tiruchirappalli is 320 km. Both cities have direct connection on either way by air, rail and bus.
